FIRE DEPARTMENT: KENT <br />Date: <br />(In the Matter of Operating Emergency Medical <br />Equipment Outside the Fire Department Boundaries.) <br />BE IT RESOLVED, that the Fire Department of THE CITY OF TUKWILA <br />shall be permitted to respond with Emergency Medical <br />equipment for mutual aid response within other Fire Districts of Cities where <br />there is a signed Mutual Aid Agreement, and, <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that, KENT FIRE DEPARTMENT <br />and TUKWILA FIRE DEPARTMENT enter into a contract for automatic <br />response when a emergency medical alarm is received by either Fire Department <br />in an area of Zone 7145 of the City of Kent (see attached map), where distance <br />is a factor determining the need for emergency medical equipment response, the <br />emergency medical equipment that will respond shall be mutually determined <br />by the Chief Officers of the Departments. <br />This contract shall be binding upon both parties for a period of one <br />year and shall be automatically renewed for a similar term.
