This plan is adopted as a part of the mutual aid agreement entered into by the <br />following municipalities: Auburn, Des Moines, Kent, Normandy Park, Renton, <br />Tukwila and the Port of Seattle under the provisions of RCW 39.34. <br />Policy <br />The participating municipalities shall respond to requests for personnel and <br />equipment as enumerated by the mutual aid agreement. <br />Procedure <br />I. Upon notification by the Chief of Police or his designee, the requesting <br />municipality, the requestor, shall provide the following information: <br />a. Identification of requesting municipality. <br />b. Manpower needs. <br />41 1/JTUAL AID O PLAN <br />1. Emergency Services Unit with special weapons or equipment, <br />including K -9. <br />2. Uniformed personnel with equipment, i.e., riot gear, protective <br />vest, gas mask, batons, flashlights, etc. <br />3. Non- uniformed personnel. <br />c. Special equipment. <br />d. Reporting time, location and commanding officer. <br />e. Type of emergency, i.e., riot, civil disturbance, aircraft, or <br />crowd control. <br />II. Notification priority. <br />a. Chief of Police or designee <br />b. Deputy Chief of Police <br />c. Operations or Patrol Division Commander or designee <br />d. Emergency Services or Special Operations Division Commander <br />III. The requesting agency shall provide subsistence, i.e., fuel for vehicles, <br />shelter if needed, and other necessary facilities for responding units. <br />IV. Supervision /Command <br />A Department supervisor or senior(supervising)officer shall accompany <br />responding personnel and shall remain for the duration of the emergency. <br />The responding Department supervisor or senior officer shall be subordinate <br />to the requesting municipality command officer. <br />
