ATTACHMENT A STATEMENT OF WORK <br />City of Auburn Narcotics Task Force <br />The members of the task force shall formally structure and <br />jointly coordinate a selected law enforcement activities, <br />resources, and functions in order to disrupt illegal drug <br />trafficking systems and to remove traffickers through a <br />cooperative program of investigation, prosecution, conviction, <br />and asset forfeiture The task force shall be a part of the <br />state of Washington's Narcotics Control Program Critical <br />elements of the task force work program shall include the <br />following <br />1 Establishment of a regional, multi jurisdictional task <br />force, which shall be composed of the following <br />o A task force commander; <br />o Three officers; <br />o One half -time deputy prosecutor; and <br />o One clerical support staff <br />2 Formal adoption of a task force strategy consistent <br />with the task force proposal submitted by the city of <br />Auburn to the DEPARTMENT as part of the task force <br />grant application A task force board of directors <br />shall be established and consist of the chief <br />administrators of the following agencies, or their <br />designees <br />o City of Auburn Police Chief; <br />o City of Kent Police Chief, <br />o City of Tukwila Police Chief; and <br />o City of Renton Police Chief <br />It shall be the responsibility of the task force <br />board of directors to set policy and goals of the task <br />force operation and to review activities The board <br />of directors shall meet periodically, but not less than <br />quarterly <br />3 Implementation of task force operation, which shall <br />achieve the following results <br />o Impact the level of drug consumption and <br />trafficking in the south King County region; <br />
