WHEREAS, King County Fire Protection District No. 18 merged into King County <br />Fire District No. 11, and, <br />WHEREAS, on March 14, 1989 by vote of the people a portion of the former King <br />County Fire Protection District No. 18 citizens requested for annexation to <br />the City of Tukwila, Washington, and, <br />WHEREAS, on April 6, 1989 by Ordinances No.1508, 1509 and 1510 the City of <br />Tukwila did accept into their boundaries this requested annexation area, and <br />WHEREAS, in accordance with RCW 35.02.200, which states in part; <br />and, <br />A 8 4 FILE <br />DATE 3 7 <br />FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT NO. 11 0;INL (:OUIXY` 1�C 4JS j'/ <br />RESOLUTION NO. 286 <br />A RESOLUTION of the Board of Commissioners <br />of King County Fire Protection District No. <br />11, King County, Washington, providing for the <br />releasing of assets to the City of Tukwila <br />The District shall pay to the City or <br />town within one year or within such period of <br />time as the District continues to collect taxes <br />in such incorporated or annexed area, in cash, <br />properties or contracts for fire protection <br />service, a percentage of the value of said assets <br />equal to the percentage of the value of the real <br />property in the entire district lying within <br />the area so incorporated or annexed...." <br />WHEREAS, it has been determined that the assets of King County Fire Protec- <br />tion District No. 11 are $4,100,845.00 and the entitlement of the City of <br />Tukwila is 496,202.00 based upon the percentile of .121, and, <br />WHEREAS, by agreement the assets equal to the percentage of assets so annexed <br />have been agreed upon by both parties, <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that King County Fire Protection District No. 11 <br />releases to the City of Tukwila the following assets: <br />(1) "Fire Station located at 4237 So. 144th <br />"AS IS" described as; Lots 20 and 21, block one (1), <br />Sterling, according to plat thereof recorded <br />in Volume 14 of plats, page 99, records of <br />King County including all plans for the <br />remodel of said station <br />248,965.00 <br />(2) 1986 Darley Engine, Motor I.D. No. S29RT6X05FC423771 <br />"AS IS" equipped as per attached equipment list. 204,000.00 <br />
