AMENDMENT TO INTER LOCAL AGREEMENT ESTABLISHING THE SOUTH KING COUNTY <br /> PUBLIC SAFETY COMMUNICATIONS AGENCY <br /> WHEREAS by agreement dated 20th day of August <br /> 1976, the undersigned municipal corporation entered into a inter local <br /> cooperation agreement pursuant to RCW 39.34, and <br /> WHEREAS the agreement created an agency known as the South <br /> King County Public Safety Communications Agency, and <br /> WHEREAS the agreement provided for amendments and modifica- <br /> tions in writing of said agreement, and <br /> WHEREAS it has become necessary to amend said agreement to <br /> provide for compliance with the Washington State Criminal Records <br /> Privacy Act (Chapter 314, Laws of 1977, First Extra Session), NOW, <br /> THEREFORE <br /> IT IS HEREBY <br /> AGREED that the inter local agreement establishing the South <br /> King County Public Safety Communications Agency be and the same here- <br /> by is amended as follows: <br /> 1. There is hereby added a new Section 17 which shall read <br /> as follows: <br /> "The South King County Public Safety Communications <br /> Agency shall bear full responsibility for insuring <br /> that the law enforcement data communications network <br /> and any Criminal History Records Information receiv- <br /> ed by means of such network shall be used solely for <br /> the purposes of the due administration of the crimi- <br /> nal laws or for the purposes enumerated in RCW 43.43. <br /> 760(3) and Chapter 314, Laws of 1977, First Extra <br /> Session, as now or hereafter amended. The South King <br /> County Public Safety Communications Agency shall es- <br /> tablish rules and regulations governing access to, <br /> security for, and operation of the data communications <br /> network and any Criminal Justice Records Information <br /> received by means of such network. <br /> t <br /> .r <br />
