Jesse Tanner, Mayor Whereas, the Fire Departments throughout the state are required to conduct training; and Whereas, Fire Departments work cooperatively to obtain and provide training; and Whereas, R.0 W 39.34 permits municipalities to enter into interlocal agreements, and Whereas, the Renton Fire Department does, from time to time conduct fire training; and Whereas, the Renton Fire Department and the City of Renton require agreements from any other Fire Department that wishes to participate in training conducted by the Renton Fire Department, to hold harmless the City of Renton and the Renton Fire Department from any and all claims, of whatever nature, which are caused by the negligence of the neighboring fire department, and Whereas, the Tukwila Fire Department has asked permission of the Renton Fire Department to be allowed access to the training premises for the purpose of participating in fire training; now, Therefore, in consideration for the opportunity to participate in the fire training to be conducted by the Renton Fire Department, the City of Tukwila hereby agrees to hold harmless and indemnify the City of Renton and the Renton Fire Department from any and all claims, of whatever nature, which may arise due to the negligence of the Tukwila Fire Department or the failure of its equipment, while involved in fire training being conducted by the Renton Fire Department 6 h g Attest U4 Ci Date Approved zlf/dtycorrhntcdocal hold harr less al form City Clerk 12,9146,22 C ity Attorney INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT RE.
