ONE <br /> ADDENDUM TO INTERLOCAL COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT <br /> BETWEEN AUBURN, FEDERAL WAY, KENT, RENTON, TUKWILA, THE PORT OF <br /> SEATTLE AND SEATTLE, FOR THE VALLEY NARCOTICS ENFORCEMENT TEAM <br /> JHIS ADDENDUM is made and entered into this d Lo tz day of <br /> 204�9-, by and between the cities /municipalities of Auburn, Kent, Renton, Tukwila, Port <br /> of Seattle, Federal Way and Seattle. municipal corporations of the State of Washington, <br /> as an addendum to the Agreement between the cities /municipalities of Auburn, Kent, <br /> Renton, Tukwila, Port of Seattle, and Federal Way for the Valley Narcotics Enforcement <br /> Team executed on the co" day of Oust 20 to pursuant to the <br /> Interlocal Cooperation Act, Chapter 39.34 oHhe Revised Code of Washington (RCW). <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> WHEREAS, the cities /municipalities of Auburn, Kent, Renton, Tukwila, Port of <br /> Seattle, and Federal Way joined together to form the Valley Narcotics Enforcement Team <br /> as a multi jurisdictional team to effectively investigate and enforce the laws relating to <br /> controlled substances. and, <br /> WHEREAS, since the Valley Narcotics Enforcement Team was established, the City <br /> of Seattle expressed its interest and intent on joining as a full member of the Team; and, <br /> WHEREAS, consistent with the purposes and objectives for which the Valley <br /> Narcotics Enforcement Team was formed, it is advantageous to include the City of Seattle <br /> as a full member of the Team. <br /> NOW THEREFORE in consideration of their mutual covenants, conditions and <br /> promises, the PARTIES HERETO HEREBY AGREE as follows: <br /> ITEM ONE REVISION TO THE VALLEY NARCOTICS ENFORCEMENT TEAM <br /> INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT GENERALLY: That the Valley Narcotics Enforcement Team <br /> Interlocal Cooperative Agreement is amended to read as follows: <br /> Whenever and wherever the Valley Narcotics Enforcement Team Interlocal <br /> Cooperative Agreement indicates and lists the parties to the Agreement, the parties shall <br /> hereafter include Auburn, Federal Way, Kent, Renton, Tukwila, the Port of Seattle and <br /> Seattle. <br /> ITEM TWO REVISION TO ARTICLE XVIII NOTIFICATION OF CLAIMS AND <br /> LAWSUITS: That Article XVI II of the Interlocal Cooperation Agreement is amended to add <br /> (in addition to the names and identifying information already listed and entitled to <br /> notification) the following: <br /> Page 1 <br />
