CITY OF TUKWILA <br /> CALL FOR BIDS <br /> NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed bids will be received by the City of Tukwila, Washington, at the <br /> office of the City Clerk, Tukwila City Hall, 6200 Southcenter Boulevard, Tukwila, Washington, up to the <br /> hour of 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, the 3rd day of March, 2011. Bids will be opened and publicly read aloud at <br /> 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, the 3rd day of March, 2011 fora fleet of: <br /> THIRTY FOUR (34) GAS POWERED GOLF CARTS <br /> All bidders must certify they are on neither the Comptroller General's list of ineligible contractors, nor the <br /> list of parties excluded from Federal procurement or non procurement programs. <br /> Bids will be considered only for new equipment. Bidders may offer several different golf carts; however, <br /> separate bid sheets must be submitted for each device. <br /> Each bid shall be in accordance with the bid documents available from the Parks and Recreation <br /> Department, 12424 42 Avenue South, Tukwila, Washington, 98168. Telephone (206) 767 -2332. <br /> The original bid and two copies must be submitted to the City Clerk for each piece offered, to: <br /> City Clerk's Office, 6200 Southcenter Blvd., Tukwila, Washington 98188, no later than 9:00 a.m. on <br /> Thursday, March 3, 2011, and must be clearly marked as follows: <br /> BID FOR THIRTY FOUR (34) GAS POWERED GOLF CARTS <br /> Pricing and delivery shall be F.O.B. Foster Golf Links, 13500 Interurban Avenue, Tukwila, WA, 98168. <br /> There is no Washington State sales tax for this purchase (as sales tax is charged at the time of rental). <br /> A municipal corporation of the State of Washington, the City of Tukwila is exempt from federal excise tax; <br /> thus, such tax may not be included.
