111111111 ir <br />City of Tukwila <br />Planning Commission <br />Board of Architectural Review(BAR) Meeting Minutes <br />Date: November 26, 2013 <br />Time: 6:30 PM <br />Location: City Hall Council Chambers <br />Present: BAR Chair Thomas McLeod; BAR Vice Chair Louise Strander; Commissioners <br />Mike Hansen and Sharon Mann <br />Absent: Commissioners Brooke Alford, Cassandra Hunter and Miguel Maestas <br />Staff: Moira Bradshaw, Senior Planner; Minnie Dhaliwal, Planning Supervisor; Nora <br />Gierloff, Deputy Director; and Wynetta Bivens, Planning Commission <br />Secretary <br />Continuation: November 14, 2013 public hearing. <br />Correction: Staff noted one correction that the applicant requested to the minutes from <br />Novemberl4, 2013. On page 6 in response to the question whether it is easy to <br />cover up graffiti on the metal it reads, "It can be re- painted." It should be <br />changed to read, "The siding can be cleaned." <br />Minutes: Commissioner Hansen made a motion to adopt the November 14, 2013 <br />minutes as amended. Commissioner Strander seconded the motion. The motion <br />was unanimously approved. <br />At 6:30 PM Chair McLeod continued the deliberation on the project from the November 14th <br />public hearing on: <br />CASE NUMBER: L13 -030 <br />APPLICANT: Bryan Park <br />REQUEST: Phase I of Tukwila Village project to include Building A, a six story <br />commercial and residential building; Building C, a one story <br />commercial, community building; and an outdoor plaza and <br />accessory parking, sidewalks, landscaping and street frontage <br />improvements. <br />LOCATION: North east corner of Tukwila International Boulevard and S.144th <br />Street. <br />Commissioner Hansen asked staff to provide a recap on where the BAR left off on their <br />discussion of Tukwila Village (L13 -030) at the conclusion of the November 14th public hearing. <br />He asked what needs to occur in order for the BAR to make a final decision. <br />Moira Bradshaw, Senior Planner, Department of Community Development stated that the <br />public hearing was closed on November 14th; therefore, no additional public testimony is <br />allowed.
