CITY OF TUKWILA <br /> REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS (RFQ) <br /> Tukwila Village <br /> Due Friday, April 29, 2011 by 5:00 p.m. Pacific Standard Time (PST) <br /> The City of Tukwila seeks a developer for the Tukwila Village project and has issued a Request <br /> for Qualifications (RFQ). <br /> Project Scope: The City of Tukwila owns approximately six acres of land at the intersection of <br /> Tukwila International Boulevard and South 144 Street in Tukwila, Washington. We seek a <br /> developer to purchase the land and develop a mixed -use, neighborhood center that will include <br /> a branch of the King County Library System, a neighborhood police resource center, retail, <br /> restaurants, public meeting space, and an outdoor plaza. The development may also include <br /> office, live /work, and residential space. <br /> Questions regarding the RFQ or the submittal process should be directed via electronic <br /> communications to Derek Speck, Economic Development Administrator at <br /> DSpeck @TukwilaWA.gov. <br /> Responses to the RFQ must be mailed or hand delivered to: <br /> City of Tukwila <br /> Derek Speck, Economic Development Administrator <br /> 6200 Southcenter Boulevard <br /> Tukwila, WA 98188 <br /> Responses, whether mailed or hand delivered, must arrive no later than 5:00 p.m. on April 29, <br /> 2011, PST. No submittals will be accepted after that date and time. The City will not be liable <br /> for delays in delivery of responses due to handling by the US Postal Service or any other type of <br /> delivery service.
