The motion was unanimously approved. <br /> <br />Chair Strander called the public hearing to order and swore in those wishing to testify. <br /> <br /> . <br />At 6:30 PM Chair Stranderopened the public hearing <br /> <br />CASE NUMBER: L13-0044 Design Review <br />APPLICANT: Tukwila Village Associates, LLC <br /> <br />REQUEST: Tukwila Village Project Phase 2 Descriptions: <br />Two mixed use buildings (Building D and Building E) and site <br />improvements including sidewalks, driveways, on-site parking, <br />landscaping and refuse/recycling area. <br />Building D <br /> - five floors of residential over one story + mezzanine of <br />office/commercial service and parking uses; includes 78 parking stalls (49 <br />in a garage and 29 on surface); 68 senior housing units and 14,150 square <br />feet of commercial space. <br />Building E <br /> - four floors of residential over one story + mezzanine of <br />commercial/retail/office and parking uses; includes 122 parking stalls (103 <br />in a garage and 19 on surface); 125 senior housing units and 3,200 square <br />feet of commercial space. <br />LOCATION: 1.94 acres on the south side of South 144th Street the east side of Tukwila <br />International Boulevard. <br /> <br /> <br />Moira Bradshaw <br />, Senior Planner, Department of Community Development,asked the Commissioners <br />the appearance of fairness questions. Commissioner Strander disclosed as a citizen she has attended <br />community meetings where Tukwila Village has been the topic of discussion and she has been the <br />recipient of emails that were sent to the community regarding the project. She stated she could be <br />unbiased and fair. Commissioner Mann disclosed as the co-chair of the TIBAC group she has been <br /> Page 1 of 3 <br /> <br />
