City Of Tukwila Police Department An Accredited Agency COPCAB Minutes March 12, 2015 6:30pm- 8:00pm Present: Chief Villa, Chris Partman, Laurie Clark, Jerry Thornton, Jim Haggerton, Mayor Michael Villa, Chief of Police John Lindsay, Jun Castillo • Introductions — • John Lindsay has lived in Tukwila for many years a retired teacher from Highline College. He is a graduate of the Citizens' Academy. Has extra time and looking for opportunities to get involved • Austin Hackett is a Staff Sgt. in the USMC Reserves. He is attending UW for a BA and moved to Tukwila a couple years ago. Lives up near Military Rd. • Minutes from 12/11/14, 1/8/15 and 2/12/15 meetings tabled • Chief's Update • Plans to have the PD goals for the group by n department staff yet, but should next week. • One emphasis areas for the Department has bi the Sgts. and above have been attending lead • The Command Staff has been working on bec workshops. 'Next week the Command Staff ai increase this movement and to have the entire of quorum. They have not yet gone out to all the idership development. In the last year and a half training.
