Last budget there was some <br />funding for a new evidence facility, after several setbacks, there is now a lease signed for a 10.000 <br />to see it it is <br />• COPS Grant <br />will be in W' <br />front burner. <br />3 year lease. Tukwila Officials <br />and meet with officials to keep our grant application on the <br />A question about What is SCORE — South County Regional Jail for Tukwila, Renton, Kent, <br />Auburn, Des Moines own the facility. Came about when King County announced a few years ago <br />that they would no longer take misdemeanor prisoners AND they were doubling rates. So the <br />above communities got together and built a jail. Now King County has a much smaller than <br />anticipatedjail population, and the KC Jailers are complaining that some of the prisoners in <br />SCORE stave felony convictions, even though they are only incarcerated for a misdemeanor.
