CITY CLERKS OFC Z 001 /001 <br /> City Of Tukwila DIY II a Jim Haggerton, Mayor <br /> Police Department Michael Vlla, Chief of Police <br /> An Accredited Agency <br /> PRESS RELEASE <br /> DATE TIME: June 5, 2011 <br /> TYPE OF INCIDENT: Shooting <br /> SHIFT SUPERVISOR: Sergeant Lund <br /> LOCATION OF INCIDENT: Spruce Motel, 14442 Tukwila Int'I Blvd <br /> CASE 11 -3656 <br /> DESCRIPTION OF OCCURRENCE: <br /> On June 5, 2011 at 11:59 AM, Tukwila Police responded to the reports of a shooting in front of the Spruce <br /> Motel, 14442 Tukwila Intl Blvd. When officers arrived they located the victim, a 43 year old Seattle man, and <br /> discovered he had been grazed by one of the bullets. The victim luckily only sustained superficial injuries and <br /> was not transported to the hospital. The suspect ran off eastbound on S. 144 St. As of 1:30PM, officers are <br /> still actively looking in the area for the suspect, described as a white male in his 20's wearing an orange shirt <br /> and blue jeans. <br /> There were several witnesses that were in the immediate area that have not yet come forward.
