MISCELLANEOUS <br />Councilmember Hougardy mentioned the "Stand up for Students" events at Tukwila District schools <br />on Friday, February 10. Adult community members are asked to be present on campuses before the <br />first bell to show support for all students in the community. She would like to bring a sign indicating <br />unified support and welcoming from the Tukwila City Council and is seeking approval from fellow <br />Councilmembers. Councilmembers Seal and McLeod were in support of such a sign. <br />Chair Seal mentioned that she commuted to and from work by light rail during the previous day's <br />snowstorm, and sidewalks alongTukwila International Boulevard were un- cleared and treacherous. <br />She recommends that the City clear the sidewalk in front of the Neighborhood Resource Center <br />during such occasions in hopes of inspiring neighbors to do the same. <br />Adjourned at 6:47 p.m. <br />Committee ChairApproval <br />Minutes by LH <br />
