April 4, 2017 <br />C. 2016 4th Quarter Sales Tax and Miscellaneous Revenue Report <br />Staff presented the 2016 4thd Quarter Sales Tax and Miscellaneous Revenue Report, including <br />details on retail sales tax, gambling tax, and admissions tax revenues with sale tax broken out <br />by industry classifications. Total sales tax collections for the 4th quarter were $197K below <br />those for the same period in 2015. DISCUSSION ONLY. <br />D. 2017 -2017 Citywide Work Plan and First Quarter Accomplishments <br />Staff presented a new format for the citywide work plan and quarterly list of accomplishments. <br />The citywide work plan is informed by the Strategic Plan and biennial budget priorities adopted <br />by the Council, and the new format lists tasks, staff names, dates and a Gantt Chart for each <br />item. Committee members spoke in favor of the new format, particularly the user - friendly list <br />of accomplishments by quarter. They asked that staff provide both reports as a periodic <br />attachment to the City Administrator Report included in the Regular Meeting agenda packet, <br />but did not think an oral presentation would be necessary. Councilmembers will be able to <br />raise questions about items as needed. DISCUSSION ONLY. <br />III.
