A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, ADOPTING A SIX -YEAR <br />TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM (2018- <br />2023), AND DIRECTING THE SAME TO BE FILED WITH <br />THE STATE SECRETARY OF TRANSPORTATION AND <br />THE TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT BOARD. <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the requirements of RCW Chapters 35.77 and 47.26, the <br />City Council of the City of Tukwila has previously adopted a Transportation Improvement <br />Program and thereafter periodically modified said Transportation Improvement Program <br />by resolution; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the work accomplished under said <br />program, determined current and future City street and arterial needs and, based upon <br />these findings, has prepared a Six -Year Transportation Improvement Program for the <br />ensuing six calendar years (2018- 2023); and <br />WHEREAS, on June 12, 2017, a public hearing was held regarding the City's Six - <br />Year Transportation Improvement Program; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, <br />WASHINGTON, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Program Adopted. A Six -Year Transportation Improvement Program <br />for the calendar years 2018 to 2023, attached hereto as Exhibit A, is hereby adopted. <br />Section 2. Filing of Program.
