Transportation & Infrastructure Committee Minutes ................................................................. ............................... May23, 2017 <br />H. Creative Placemaking Grant Opportunity <br />Staff is seeking Committee approval to apply for a $50,000 Transportation for America Creative <br />Placemaking Grant to be used to facilitate placemaking and artistic projects in the Tukwila <br />International Boulevard neighborhood. If awarded, this grant would bean opportunity to build <br />on the Congress for New Urbanism recommendations. There is no City match required and the <br />application is due June 2, 2017. UNANIMOUS APPROVAL. <br />III. SCATBd <br />IV. MISCELLANEOUS <br />Ms. Carroll addressed the Committee to request additional speed limit signage on South 164th Street <br />and 51st Avenue South. She also shared a Seattle Times article about modified exhaust systems that <br />are creating a noise impact to neighborhoods. Chair Kruller noted that these are administrative <br />requests as policies are already in place. <br />The Transportation Committee Meeting adjourned at 6:19 p.m. <br />Committee Chair Approval <br />Minutes by LH, Reviewed by GL <br />
