PURPOSE: To establish rules for the promotion of fair practice and non- <br />discrimination in activities relating to employment and treatment of all <br />citizens. <br />STATEMENT OF POLICY: <br />The City of Tukwila shall promote and afford equal treatment and service to all citizens <br />and to ensure that all applicants, employees and volunteers receive equal employment <br />opportunity without regard to race, religion, creed, color, national origin, age (over 40), <br />veteran status, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, political affiliation, <br />the presence of a disability, or the use of a trained guide dog, or other legally protected <br />class status.
