Page 4 <br />Public Hearing Minutes <br />August 24, 2017 <br />Moira Bradshaw continued to a parcel by parcel description of proposed changes to zoning on TIB. <br />Emphasis on the benefits of uses facing similar uses. Reviewing zoning overlay changes. This discussion <br />was supplemented with a GIS mapping demonstration. <br />Staff intends to undertake additional community outreach on these recommendations, requesting <br />suggestions from Commissioners on outreach methods. Will be having open houses on evenings and <br />weekends. <br />Commissioners recommended having a traffic plan before taking these recommendations to the open <br />houses, and going an extra step to reach out to non-English speaking community through community <br />liaisons. Postcards sent to property owners and those affected. Postcard should include map and a link <br />on the city website for further information <br />DIRECTORS REPORT <br />Nora Gierloff Thanked the commissioners for looking at bylaws. Reminded them of the city-wide changes <br />in the municipal code and the resulting changes in Bylaws and to review their updated procedure <br />documents.
