<br /> <br />ARTS COMMISSION <br />MINUTES <br />May 13, 2016 5:00 p.m. Tukwila Community Center <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Call to Order: Chairperson Brian Kennedy called the meeting to order at 5:10 p.m. <br /> <br />Attendance: Commissioners - Cynthia Chesak, Brian Kennedy, Steve Mullet <br /> Staff - Dave Johnson <br /> <br />Approval of Minutes: Cynthia Chesak moved to approve the minutes of March 1, 2016 meeting. Steve Mullet <br />seconded the motion. Motion passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Business Items <br />A.Backyard Wildlife Art Show – Staff and Commissioners discussed the show, and suggested having a de-brief <br /> <br />next meeting to begin exploring a rules sub-committee, and Commissioner category. <br /> <br />B.Arts 1% Implementation Update - Staff provided a brief update on implementing the 1% for the Arts fund in <br /> <br />Tukwila. Staff will present the updated Policy at the next meeting. <br /> <br />Adjournment: The meeting was adjourned at 5:55pm <br /> <br /> <br />Next Meeting: June 7, 2016 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
