IMPACT: <br />COMMENT: <br />CITY OF TUKWILA CAPITAL PROJECT SUMMARY <br />2017 to 2022 <br />Water Reservoir and Pump Station Project No. 91240102 <br />Design and construct a new 1.5 million gallon water storage reservoir with a 3,300 gpm pump station. <br />The Department of Health is requiring that the City provide additional water storage in the 360 pressure zone, <br />which includes the Commercial Business District. A pump station is needed for fire flow. <br />Design funds in 2017 will study the possibility of using Highline's CrestView Reservoir's extra capacity instead of <br />building a new reservoir. Siting study in 2013 showed optimal site location in the Manufacturing/Industrial Center <br />(MIC).
