l_�rIIIi <br />,J Lib _ <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. <br />2430 TO ADOPT AN AMENDED 2014 PARKS, RECREATION <br />AND OPEN SPACE PLAN FOR THE CITY OF TUKWILA; <br />PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND ESTABLISHING AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />WHEREAS, RCW 35A.63.062 authorizes the City of Tukwila to perform <br />comprehensive park and open space planning; and <br />WHEREAS, the 2014 Parks, Recreation and Open Space Plan was reviewed in <br />accordance with the State Environmental Policy Act process required by RCW 43.21C <br />and was the subject of public comment prior to adoption in 2014; and <br />WHEREAS, the Tukwila City Council adopted the 2014 Parks, Recreation and Open <br />Space Plan per Ordinance No. 2430 on February 18, 2014; and <br />WHEREAS, minor amendments to the 2014 Parks, Recreation and Open Space Plan <br />are deemed appropriate as it relates to impact fees as authorized by RCW 82.02; and the <br />overall goals, objectives and service standards of the 2014 Parks, Recreation and Open <br />Space Plan are retained; and <br />WHEREAS, the Plan amendments have been evaluated as appropriate under SEPA <br />pursuant to RCW 43.21C in 2017; and <br />WHEREAS, the amended Plan was presented to the public for comment and <br />modification at a public hearing on November 27, 2017; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, <br />WASHINGTON, HEREBY ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1.
