EXHIBIT A-4 <br />Construction Management Services <br />Scope of Work <br />February 2018 <br />City of Tukwila <br />53rd Ave S (S 144th Street to S 137th Street) <br />Project No. 99110301 <br />TIB Project No.: 8-1-116(012)-1 <br />KPG Project #: 15085 <br />This work will provide construction management services for the construction contract to complete the <br />following; <br />Construction of approximately 2200 linear feet of street improvements within and outside of the right-of- <br />way of 53rd Ave S, including but not limited to construction of asphalt roadway, curb, gutter, planters, <br />and sidewalk; retaining walls; roadway excavation, and hot mix asphalt overlay; new storm conveyance <br />and treatment system; new utility water main; undergrounding of existing franchise utilities with joint <br />utility trench and service conversions; utility adjustments; illumination; landscaping; channelization and <br />signing; and other work necessary to complete the Work as specified and shown in the Contract <br />Documents. <br />A detailed scope for the Contract follows: <br />I. INTRODUCTION <br />The following scope of services and associated costs are based upon the assumptions outlined below. <br />General Assumptions: <br />• The proposed project team will include one part-time project manager, one resident engineer, <br />one documentation control specialist, one inspector, design team support as required, sub - <br />consultants to provide services for materials testing, and other supporting tasks as deemed <br />necessary. It is anticipated that full-time site observation will be required for the entire duration <br />of construction. <br />• The level of service is based on project duration of approximately 11 months, or 215 working days <br />with 10 days prior to construction and 10 days for closeout — total of 235 working days, 8 hour <br />days. <br />• It is anticipated that the client will review and execute the insurance, bonds, and the Construction <br />Contract. <br />City of Tukwila 53rd Ave S <br />Construction Management Services <br />Scope of Work <br />Page 1 of 9 <br />KPG <br />Project #15085 <br />February 2018 <br />40 <br />
