CITY OF TUKWILA CAPITAL PROJECT SUMMARY <br />2017 to 2022 <br />PROJECT: CBD Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation Project No 91140203 <br />DESCRIPTION: The asbestos concrete pipe in the CSD (commercial business district) is approximately 45 years old and <br />becoming soft, Slip lining the pipe, will reinforce the strength with little impact to roadways and minimal excavation, <br />JUSTIFICATION: If the pipe collapses, the street wiiI have to be excavated and the cost of the repairs will be significant, in the <br />last five years we have had four rrna)or pipe failures on Andover Park West and Andover Park East <br />In 2014 and 2015, over 10,500 feet of asbestos sanitary sewer pipe were relined, In 2016 through 2018, <br />STATUS: 20000 feet of asbestos sewer is scheduled to be relined, <br />MAINT.
