Staff also suggested that policy considerations could include above <br />and below market adjustments, compression, comparability, and recruitment. Committee <br />members discussed the proposals and requested the following components be included in the <br />analysis and review process: <br />An updated market study, as one has not been completed since 2015 <br /> <br />Input and recommendations from the non-represented employee group <br /> <br />Background and evaluation of decision band methodology <br /> <br />Analysis on gender neutrality, desk audits and appeal process, performance <br /> <br />reviews, and merit pay <br />Understanding of compression and when it has been an issue <br /> <br /> <br />The Committee would like to have a full Council workshop or Committee of the Whole session <br />devoted to the contents and background of Resolution 1796, past studies, and information about <br />benefits, compression, and decision band methodology. Chair Quinn stressed the importance of <br />providing high quality and comprehensive background information to educate all members of <br />the Council and to help the Committee arrive at a recommendation.
