He gave the presentation for staff on the <br />proposed Conditional Use Permit and Design Review, which were combined to streamline the process. <br /> <br />For the record, two public comment letters were received, dated March 2, 2017, and March 13, 2017. <br /> <br />Staff went over the review process, providing background information. <br /> <br />Recommendations: <br /> <br />1. Staff recommended approval of the Conditional Use Permit. <br />2. Staff recommended approval of the Design Review with a waiver of the requirement for the interior <br />parking lot landscaping requirements due to the need for the continued access of moving buses through <br />the site. <br /> <br />Jeff Feeney <br />, Architect, for the applicant, gave the presentation. Mr. Feeney introduced their project team. He <br />said that staff did an excellent job presenting the project. He said the landscape plan before the Commission <br />may not be the correct version. He said three trees shown on the plan fell due to storm damage and had to be <br />removed from the site, and noted that the applicant will ensure to replace the trees. <br /> <br />There was no public testimony. <br /> <br />The applicant addressed questions and comments from the Commission. <br /> <br />The public hearing was closed. <br /> <br />Deliberation: <br /> None. <br /> <br />Motions: <br /> <br />L17-0006 <br />Commissioner Hansen <br /> moved to approve Case Number , Conditional Use Permit based on the <br />findings and conclusions contained in the staff report dated April 18, 2017.Commissioner Alford seconded the <br />motion. All were in favor. <br /> <br />L17-0006 <br />Commissioner Alford <br />moved to approve Case Number , Design Review based on the findings <br />and conclusions contained in the staff report dated April 18, 2017, including a waiver for the interior parking lot <br />landscaping requirements as allowed under TMC 18.52. Commissioner Hansen seconded the motion.
