Vehicles: <br />• Partner with both Andrea Reay from Seattle Southside and Becky Smith from Westfield <br />Southcenter to leverage their relationships within Tukwila's business community to <br />achieve the most successful outreach. Each will be asked to facilitate meetings in order <br />for City Staff to reach the broadest stakeholder group. <br />• One-on-one or small group meetings with the following individuals and companies: <br />o Mike Hansen, Sabey o Red Dot <br />o Mark Segale, Segale o Fatigue Technologies <br />Properties o Seattle Chocolate <br />o Boeing o Baker Commodities <br />o Costco o Continental Mills <br />o Wig Family o Panzenella <br />o Regency o Industrial Revolution <br />o Clarion o Other Businesses Identified <br />o Omar and Christine Lee in meetings with businesses. <br />o Doubletree <br />• Small Group Meetings with businesses. <br />• Use the opportunity to attend boards and commissions meetings, TIBAC, etc. to educate <br />residents on the B&O and the fact that it would only apply to large businesses. <br />• The City will produce the following collateral for this effort: <br />o Slide deck, no more than 10 slides <br />o Two -pager (front/back) leave behind with an FAQ <br />o Web page presence; narrated slide deck and leave behind posted <br />o Single point email for questions <br />• Should Council deliberate on this topic, staff will ensure stakeholders are well -aware of <br />opportunities to weigh in at public meetings. <br />Metrics: <br />• Meetings held with everyone identified above that was interested in the topic. <br />• Staff presentation at boards and commissions, TIBAC and other organizations as <br />possible. <br />• Materials are developed and disseminated. <br />• Members of the business community feel part of the process and decision making, even <br />if unhappy with final decision. <br />DRAFT B&O Implementation Communications PlanEl <br />7 <br />
