compatible with the surroundings; be in keeping with the goals and policies of the <br />Comp Plan; and include mitigating measures to minimize impacts. <br />4.Will the proposed change result in a net benefit to the community? <br />The proposed changes limit thepotential for stand along parking lots to municipal office <br />and police stations; requires a conditional use process before a stand-along parking <br />lot may be approved; and will allow the design and the construction of the Justice <br />Center to proceed on schedule. <br />Conclusions <br />Per the Committee,staff was to limit the scope of the proposed changes. <br />Police stations are a conditional use in all zones except Tukwila Valley South. A <br />conditional use requires a public hearing and consideration of impacts and compliance <br />with performance criteria.
