The Committee desires to see <br />the TIB road diet remain on the table with additional discussion and studies. A full Council <br />discussion at the C.O.W. may be needed. DISCUSSION ONLY. RETURN TO COMMITTEE. <br /> <br /> <br />III. SCATBd/RTC <br />No discussion. Councilmember Hougardy continues to report on activities of both groups at full <br />Council meetings. <br /> <br /> <br />IV.MISCELLANEOUS <br /> <br />42nd Ave S Phase III & Gilliam Creek Culvert Replacement Update <br />nd <br />Public Works Director Hash reported on the 42 Avenue South Phase III Project. After Change Order <br />No. 3 of $1.9 million that changed the billing to cost plus, there are still issues on the project site that <br />requires another $1.4 million to finish the project. Further negotiations will be ongoing with the <br />contractor, the design consultant, and Seattle City Light to recoup some of the overages. Discussion <br />on how Public Works can do projects better and steps are underway to add Best Management <br />Practices along with checklists for design through project closeout. <br /> <br />2018 Committee Workplan <br />No discussion. <br /> <br />V. ANNOUNCEMENTS <br />City Administrator Cline distributed a draft general support letter from the Mayor for the King <br />County Comprehensive Solid Waste Management Plan that is under consideration. King County <br />presented the Comprehensive Plan to Committee on August 13, 2018.
