Project Approach <br />• Review of the complete project manual and drawings to ensure necessary references and <br />coordination language is place with respect to the potential for impacting and/or working <br />adjacent to regulated building materials. <br />• Attendance at design meetings with the project team, pre -bid walk through meetings, pre - <br />construction meetings, and weekly progress meetings during the abatement portions of the <br />project as needed. <br />• Provide addenda/clarification as required. <br />Construction Administration Services <br />• Full time on -site monitoring during abatement activity associated with each school included <br />in the scope of work including the collection and analysis of asbestos air samples (Phase <br />Contrast Microscopy - NIOSH Method 7400) within the work area and adjacent occupied <br />areas. PCM analysis will be performed on site by the NOVO technician. <br />Daily verification and documentation of abatement quantities removed to ensure accurate <br />comparison with quantities listed in section 01 11 10 of the project manual. <br />Pre -abatement air sampling to establish airborne fiber concentrations within the building <br />prior to starting abatement work. <br />• Final visual clearance inspection, and air clearance sampling of abated areas, as required by <br />WAC 296-62-07709. <br />• Final walkthrough of each work area to verify that identified asbestos -containing materials <br />intended for removal have been removed by the contractor. <br />• Perform final clearance inspection of abated areas and conduct air sampling per WAC 296- <br />62-07709. <br />• Provide project management for resolution of regulated building materials issues during the <br />construction process. <br />• Review Contractor's pre job, weekly, and post job submittal documents. <br />• Provide Record of Asbestos Abatement Project forms for each area where ACM has been <br />removed, repaired, encapsulated, or otherwise affected by the project.
