<br />The Mayor is the Chief Executive and Administrative Officer of the City, in charge of all departments and
<br />employees as set forth by RCW 35A.12.100. The Mayor has general supervision of the administration of
<br />all City government and all City interests. It is the Mayor's responsibility to prepare and submit to the City
<br />Council a proposed budget and to serve as the official and ceremonial head of the City. The Mayor is
<br />assisted with his duties by the City Administrator. The Mayor's Office encompasses Administration, the
<br />City Attorney's Office, the City Clerk's Office, Communications & Government Relations, Economic
<br />Development, and Human Services.
