CITY GOAL <br />City Equity Plan Goal 1: The <br />City workforce reflects our <br />community <br />COMMISSION COMMITMENT <br />M <br />The Commission would like to partner <br />with the appropriate City <br />representatives to: <br />Analyze and make recommendations <br />regarding minimum qualifications, <br />unbiased hiring practices, and <br />promotions <br />Track employee harassment and <br />discrimination complaints and <br />grievances, and their outcomes <br />City Equity Plan Goal 2: <br />Community outreach and <br />engagement is relevant, <br />intentional, inclusive, <br />consistent and ongoing <br />Promote apprenticeships and workforce <br />development that are equitable for City <br />residents <br />The Commission will Intentionally seek <br />out community concerns and <br />knowledge and get feedback from the <br />community regarding equity and <br />diversity in Tukwila. <br />City Equity Plan Goals 4 and 5: <br />City Government is committed <br />to equity in the decision- <br />making process and equity <br />serves as a core value for all <br />long-term plans moving <br />forward <br />City Equity Plan Goal 6: The <br />POINT PERSON <br />The Commission will relay the <br />information to the appropriate City <br />representatives or the Council. <br />A group of commissioners is committed <br />to attend or watch City Council <br />meetings with an equity lens and <br />establish a rotation so that every <br />meeting is covered so that we can <br />proactively advise the Council on <br />policy decisions. <br />The Commission requests that the City <br />Cit will build d capacity around of Tukwila join the Local and Regional <br />
