p <br />J o <br />Q <br />190 <br />NOTICE OF <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Tukwila City Council will hold a public hearing on Monday, <br />October 3, 2011 beginning at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at Tukwila City Hall, 6200 Southcenter <br />Blvd., Tukwila, to consider the following: <br />On August 15, 2011, pursuant to RCW 35A.63.220, the City Council of the City of Tukwila, <br />Washington adopted Ordinance 42348 establishing a twelve month moratorium prohibiting the <br />establishment, location, operation, licensing, maintenance, or continuation of any medical cannabis <br />collective garden or any medical marijuana dispensary, whether for profit or not for profit, asserted to <br />be authorized or actually authorized under E2SSB 5073, Chapter 181, Laws of 2011, Chapter 69.51A <br />RCW, or any other laws of the state of Washington. The City is required to hold a public hearing <br />within 60 -days of adoption of an emergency moratorium. <br />All interested persons are invited to be present to voice approval, disapproval, or <br />opinions on this issue. For those unable to attend in person, you may submit written <br />testimony to the City Clerk's office until 5:00 p.m. the day of the meeting. <br />Tukwila City Hall is wheelchair accessible. The City strives to accommodate people with <br />disabilities. Reasonable accommodations are available at the public hearing with advance notice. This <br />notice is also available in alternate formats for individuals with disabilities.
