INFORMATIONAL MEMO <br />Page 2 <br />Library Advisory Board <br />Position #1: Scott Kruize has been serving in this position since March 21, 2016 and is <br />interested in continuing to serve in this capacity. I am recommending he be <br />reappointed for an additional term. His new term will expire December 31, 2020. <br />Position #2: Steve Miller has been serving in this position since September 15, 2003 and is <br />interested in continuing to serve in this capacity. I am recommending he be <br />reappointed for an additional term. His new term will expire December 31, 2020. <br />Position #4: Geraldine Ventura has been serving in this position since July 16, 2012 and is <br />interested in continuing to serve in this capacity. I am recommending she be <br />reappointed for an additional term. Her new term will expire December 31, 2020. <br />Position #6: Councilmember Seal has been serving in this position since October 16, 2017 <br />and is interested in continuing to serve in this capacity. I am recommending she <br />be reappointed for an additional term. Her new term will expire December 31, <br />2020. <br />Park Commission <br />Position #2: Nerissa Metully has been serving in this position since June 4, 2018 and is <br />interested in continuing to serve in this capacity. I am recommending she be <br />reappointed for an additional term. Her new term will expire December 31, 2021. <br />Position #7: Ivan Cockrum has been serving in this position since January 2, 2018 and is <br />interested in continuing to serve in this capacity. I am recommending he be <br />reappointed for an additional term. His new term will expire December 31, 2021. <br />Planning Commission <br />Position #1: Louise Strander has been serving in this position since March 15, 2010 and is <br />interested in continuing to serve in this capacity. I am recommending she be <br />reappointed for an additional term. Her new term will expire December 31, 2022. <br />Position #2: This position will be vacant effective January 1, 2019. I am recommending Karen <br />Simmons be appointed to this position. Her application is attached for your <br />review. The term for this position will expire December 31, 2022. <br />Position #5: This position will be vacant effective January 1, 2019. I am recommending Dixie <br />Stark be appointed to this position. Her application is attached for your review. <br />The term for this position will expire December 31, 2022. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />I am recommending these appointments and reappointments be confirmed by Council at the <br />January 7, 2019 Council Meeting. <br />6 <br />
