JoAnne Fabian BOARDS/COMMISSIONS APPLICATION FOR APPOINTMENT <br />Professional/Community Activities (organizations, clubs, service groups, etc): <br />I am a member of the Washington Association for School Administrators (WASA) and <br />the Washington Educational Research Association (WERA). I have been a member of <br />the Tukwila School District since July of 2013. Prior to joining Tukwila, I worked in <br />Everett on the On Time Graduation initiative. Before taking on that position, I worked in <br />alternative education for 14 years as a teacher and a principal. <br />Hobbies/Interests: <br />I enjoy reading, exercise, attending conferences and speakers to learn. <br />Qualifications as related to this position: <br />I have worked in education for over 25 years, with the majority of the time focusing on at risk youth.
