NAW <br />Office of the Mayor <br />City of Tukwila, Washington <br />PROCLAMATION <br />WHEREAS, the City of Tukwila is proud of the diversity of people that call our city <br />home, including our LGBTQ neighbors and friends who benefit our community in <br />countless ways; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Tukwila is committed to equal rights for all residents and <br />guests, and is steadfast in its support of equal rights for all; <br />WHEREAS, Pride is celebrated in the month of June as a way to celebrate our LGBTQ <br />community and recognize the long history and value LGBTQ individuals have <br />provided to our City and broader culture; <br />NOW THEREFORE, I, Allan Ekberg, Mayor of the City of Tukwila, do hereby proclaim <br />the month of June as: <br />Pride Month <br />in the City of Tukwila and encourage all community residents to join me in <br />recognizing equal rights for all. <br />Presented this fifteenth day of June, 2019. <br />Allan Ekberg, Mayor <br />
