He reiterated that the construction market is in an extraordinary <br />at there is a lack of trade availability and costs are escalated. City staff updated <br />the Committee on the status of projects associated with the Public Safety Plan. The City now <br />owns all property and has reached settlements with the impacted businesses. Projects are <br />on schedule, and on March 25 the City Council authorized proceeding with construction on <br />the Justice Center and Station 51. The next big decision point will be the remainder of the <br />Maximum Allowable Construction Cost (MACC) contract for the Justice Center at the end of <br />May. The overall funding and revenue stream has not changed significantly since the <br />Oversight Committee last met. Mr. Goldblatt noted that the bond measure did not <br />anticipate the actual cost of construction and reminded the Committee that the Council <br />1 <br />3 <br />
