Transportation & Infrastructure Committee Minutes August 20, 2019 <br />II. MISCELLANEOUS <br />Staff provided an overview of current issues related to SeaTac International Airport. Tukwila <br />participates in the SeaTac Airport Stakeholder Advisory Round Table (StART), along with other <br />cities, the Port, FAA, Delta, Alaska, and a cargo representative. The cities of Burien and Des <br />Moines have recently suspended participation in this committee due to concerns around <br />effectiveness and not receiving proper notice of Port Commission actions impacting the airport <br />communities. Administration recommends the City of Tukwila continue participation in StART <br />as having a voice at the table is better than not.
