Transportation & Infrastructure Committee Minutes September4, 2019 between 60-79, two rated between 40-59, and three rated 39 or less. The sufficiency rating formula considers the structural adequacy, functional obsolescence, level of service, and essentiality for public use. Committee members and staff discussed the Boeing Access Road/Airport Way bridge, Boeing Access Road/BNSF bridge, 42nd Avenue South bridge, the South 119 St. ped bridge, and the potential for a new BNSF access bridge. Staff will report back to Committee with results of the federal grant for the replacement of the 42nd Avenue South Bridge, which is rated structurally deficient. Committee members expressed great concern over the bridge's deficiency and would like to act soon. DISCUSSION ONLY. II. MISCELLANEOUS Staff will bring the Master Plan for the new Public Works Shops facility to the Committee of the Whole along with financing options. Chair Idan stated that because of a lack of agenda items, he would like to use the September 17, 2019 Committee meeting time to allow members to tour the Heiser building, which is the future site of the new shops. Chair Idan stated that the Committee expects to discuss traffic calming alternatives around the vicinity of the schools on S. 144th St, which was requested by the Council during the discussion on traffic cameras.
