Commissions Updates <br />Arts Commission 2020 Retreat Planning - Arts Commissioners brainstormed a list of things that they <br />would like to talk about at the upcoming retreat. Mayor recommend Shawn Belyea <br />be appointed to the Tukwila Arts Commission. <br />Tukwila Library Advisory Board Fall 2019 Initiatives; truancy concerns and 2020 workplan <br />Park Commission The Commission reviewed lists of proposed names of parks and discussed the idea <br />of a tagline for smaller parks in Tukwila as a branding or marketing idea. PROS <br />Plan Update - Robert Eaton provided an update and the status of the PROS Plan <br />work, highlighting the preliminary key findings from the needs assessment and <br />next steps. Acquisition Update - A brief summary of the acquisition process for the <br />Raisebeck and Davies parcels was shared; both are currently moving forward <br />hrough the various steps at this time. <br />
