City of Tukwila <br />Allan Ekberg, Mayor <br />TO: Finance Committee <br />FROM: Joseph Todd, Director of Technology & Innovation Services <br />BY: Mike Marcum, Supervisor of Technical Operations <br />CC: Mayor Ekberg <br />DATE: 12/4/19 <br />SUBJECT: Microsoft Enterprise Agreement <br />ISSUE <br />TIS is seeking Council authorization for a continuance of Microsoft Enterprise Services, City <br />contract #16-171, or Microsoft Agreement Number 01 E73965, Enterprise Number 78090401 <br />BACKGROUND <br />The Microsoft 365 suite of services is an integral part of City services and security. These <br />services include all Office products, Email, SharePoint, One Drive, One Note, Skype, Teams, <br />Yammer and more. <br />DISCUSSION <br />Quote # 3420463 is included for discussion. Quote shows numbers over a 3-year term, from <br />12/l/19-11/30/22. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT <br />Not to exceed $422,555 (w/taxes) over 3 years. This is a TIS budgeted expense, with a 10% <br />variance, to account for the addition of unforeseen user licensing and service impacts. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />The Council is being asked to approve a continuance to this Microsoft contract and consider the <br />item at the December 9, 2019 Committee of the Whole meeting and subsequent Special <br />Meeting, for approval. <br />ATTACHMENTS <br />City of Tukwila quote for Microsoft Enterprise Services <br />M <br />
