Aofthoty of T <br />Washington <br />����0�D���� l���o. <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />TUKVV|LA,VVASH|NGTON,EXPRESSING SINCERE GRATITUDE TO <br />DENNIS ROBERTSCJN FOR HIS SERVICE AS A CC)WNC|LR8EKOBER. <br />WHEREAS, Dennis Robertson has announced retirement from public service after career of <br />community advocacy including leading the Tukwila-K8cW1ioken Action Cunnnnbtee that resulted in <br />annexation tothe City ofTukwila; and <br />WHEREAS, Dennis has served onthe City Council from 1988-1895, and again from 2UO4tothe <br />present day; and <br />WHEREAS, Dennis has chaired numerous Council CommnnitteeS, served as Council President in <br />1081.2000,2O10,and 2O17.and has dedicated countless hours 0fservice tothe community; and <br />WHEREAS, Dennis leaves a legacy of care and concern for environmental issues, as evidenced <br />by his longtime leadership on the Water Resource Inventory Area S (VVR|A 8) Management <br />Committee and his recent sponsorship of an ordinance that will help remove single -use plastic bogs <br />from the waste stream; and <br />WHEREAS, his knovv|edga, experienoe, and attention todetail, budgetary and otherwise, has <br />greatly contributed to a better government and will be 'greatly missed by all; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OFTHE CITY OFTUKW|LA.
