BUSINESSAGENDA <br />A. Contract Amendment: Boeing Access Road over Airport Way Bridge Seismic Retrofit <br />Staff is seeking Council approval of Amendment No. 2 to Contract 18-227 with TranTech <br />Engineering, LLC in the amount of $356,397.00 for this project. <br />Committee Recommendation <br />Unanimous approval. Forward to April 20, 2020 Regular Consent Agenda. <br />B. Grant Applications: Transportation Demand Management & 42nd Avenue South Bridge <br />Staff is seeking Committee approval to apply for federal funding through the Puget Sound <br />Regional Councii's 2023-24 project selection process. 1) $450,000 for the Transportation <br />Demand Management program's outreach activities and 2) $4M for the 42nd Avenue South <br />Bridge Replacement Project. The 13.5% match requirement would come from available <br />WSDOT funding and would not affect the general fund. <br />Committee Recommendation <br />Unanimous approval. <br />C. Grant Application: Gilliam Creek Fish Barrier Removal <br />Staff is seeking Committee approval to apply to the Recreation and Conservation Office, <br />King County Flood Control District, and other future grants for the Gilliam Creek Fish <br />Barrier Removal Project. This project will restore fish passage between Gilliam Creek and <br />the Green River, restore salmon habitat, and maintain or improve flood protection. Staff <br />recommended submitting the grant proposal for Option 3. The feedback they received <br />from major funders was that Option 3 was the only option that would likely receive <br />funding. The 15% match requirement would come from surface water enterprise funds or <br />other available grant funds. <br />Committee Recommendation <br />Unanimous approval. <br />
