Community Services & Safety Minutes...................................................................................................................... April 27, 2020 <br />Committee Recommendation: <br />Leave on Committee work plan. Chair Kruller will gather feedback from residents as well as <br />other cities' regulations. <br />E. Census 2020 and Community Connectors <br />Staff updated the Committee on the status of 2020 Census outreach and the future of the <br />Community Connectors program. Staff asked Councilmembers to assist with outreach. <br />Committee question(s) requiring follow up <br />Chair Kruller requested 50 hard copies of the outreach flyers. <br />Committee Recommendation: <br />Discussion only. <br />F. Committee Work Plan <br />Committee members discussed the 2020 work plan. <br />Committee question(s) requiring follow up <br />• Correct numbering and update work plan with dates if known. <br />Committee Recommendation: <br />Discussion only. <br />II. MISCELLANEOUS <br />Councilmember Delostrinos Johnson mentioned that she will be asking for Council consensus <br />to issue a statement renouncing COVID-19 related discrimination. <br />Chair Kruller asked that the Police & Fire Departments use the same criteria for reporting <br />incidents to the City Council. Chief Linton mentioned that he can't always comment on active <br />investigations but encourages Councilmembers to call him with questions. <br />The meeting adjourned of 6:00 p.m. <br />Committee Chair Approval <br />Minutes by LH <br />
