Councilmembers Present: Cynthia Delostrinos Johnson, Chair; Verna Seal, Kate Kruller <br />StoffPresent: Rachel Bianchi, Henry Hash, Hari Ponnekanti, Ryan Larson, Adam Cox, <br />Gail Labanara and Han Kirkland <br />Chair Delostrinos Johnson called the meeting to order at 5:32 p.m. <br />I. BUSINESSAGENDA <br />A. Bid Award: Boeing Access Road over Airport Way Bridge Seismic Retrofit Project <br />Staff is seeking Council approval to award the construction bid to Razz Construction, Inc. <br />in the amount of $1,442,505.00. This seismic repair is funded by a federal BRAC grant. <br />Committee Recommendation <br />Unanimous approval. Forward to May 4, 2020 Regular Consent Agenda. <br />B. Grant Applications: South 1315t Place Drainage Improvements <br />Staff is seeking Committee approval to submit grant applications to the King County Flood <br />Control District (2020 Flood Reduction Grants) and other grants that become available. <br />The improvements will increase the available creek freeboard and replace the existing <br />cross culvert. <br />Committee Recommendation <br />Unanimous approval. <br />II. MISCELLANEOUS <br />Committee members and staff discussed the status of items on the 2020 committee work plan. <br />Chair Delostrinos Johnson noted that the Neighborhood Traffic Calming Program <br />presentation to Council will be delayed. <br />Chair Delostrinos Johnson asked for an update on the 42nd Avenue South Bridge inspection <br />timeline. Staff is working with BNSF on the upcoming closures and researching a preferred <br />alternative route. <br />Committee question(s) requiring follow up <br />• Provide the status of the remaining traffic control on the 42nd Avenue South Project. <br />The meeting adjourned at 5:47 p.m. <br />CDJ <br />Committee Chair Approval <br />Minutes by HK <br />
