City Council Finance Committee <br />City of Tukwila <br />Meeting Minutes <br />October 12, 2020 - 5:30 p.m. - Electronic Meeting due to COVID-19 Emergency <br />Councilmembers Present: Verna Seal, Chair; Kathy Hougardy, Zak Idan <br />Staff Present: Laurel Humphrey, David Cline, Juan Padilla, Tony Cullerton, Vicky Carlsen <br />Guests: Andy Reiswig, Jovita McConnell; Public Safety Bond Financial Oversight Committee <br />Chair Seal called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. <br />I. BUSINESS AGENDA <br />A. Public Safety Bond Financial Oversight Committee Report <br />Mr. Reiswig, Chair, presented the Report. <br />Committee Recommendation <br />• Discussion only. <br />B. Resolution: Discontinue Temporary Pay Reduction for Non -Represented Employees <br />Staff is seeking Council approval of a resolution that would repeal Resolution 1988 which <br />established a temporary pay reduction for non -represented employees to assist with the <br />COVID-19 related budget shortfall. Employees will resume normal pay and working hours on <br />November 1, 2020. <br />Committee Recommendation <br />• Unanimous approval. Forward to October 12, 2020 Committee of the Whole. <br />II. MISCELLANEOUS <br />Staff updated the Committee on the forthcoming process for hiring a Police Chief. <br />Item(s) needing follow-up <br />Councilmember Idan suggested removing zip codes from the online community survey. <br />Committee Recommendation <br />Discussion only. <br />The meeting adjourned at 5:54 p.m. <br />Minutes by TC <br />Committee Chair Approval <br />
