Councilmembers Present: Kate Kruller, Chair; Thomas McLeod, Cynthia Delostrinos Johnson <br />Staff Present: David Cline, Stacy Hansen, Laurel Humphrey, Eric Drever <br />Chair Kruller called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. <br />I. BUSINESS AGENDA <br />A. 2021-2022 Human Services Contracts over $40,000.00 <br />Staff is seeking Council approval of the 2021-2022 Human Services contracts above the $40,000 <br />Mayor's signing authority: Catholic Community Services, Children's Therapy Center, <br />Childhaven, Multi -Service Center, Refugee Women's Alliance, and Tukwila Pantry. <br />Committee Recommendation: <br />Unanimous approval. Forward to January 4, 2021 Regular Consent Agenda. <br />B. King County Regional Approach to Gun Violence <br />Staff is meeting with program representatives on December 18, 2020 to learn more about <br />Tukwila's participation in this effort. <br />Committee Recommendation: <br />Discussion only. <br />II. MISCELLANEOUS <br />Chair Kruller mentioned the recent NLC presentation on the Eugene, Oregon CAHOOTS <br />program, which is a community-based public health system to provide mental health first <br />response.
