Motion passed. <br />Chair Strander called the work session to order for: <br />CASE NUMBER: L19-0115 <br />PURPOSE: Segale Properties LLC, the applicant, requests amendments to Title 18, Zoning <br />Code of the Tukwila Municipal Code (TMC) to set standards for residential uses. <br />The proposed amendments are to adopt development standards and guidelines for <br />residential uses in all of Tukwila South; these would apply to all lands and <br />underlying zoning within the TSO district, including replacing those adopted in <br />2018 for the underlying LDR zone. <br />LOCATION: Properties within Tukwila South Overlay District <br />Max Baker, Senior Planner, Department of Community Development gave an overview of the project. <br />He provided history on the development standards and design guidelines, as well as gave explanation on the <br />current proposal and the intent of the development standards and design guidelines, and the difference between <br />them. Next steps, the public hearing will be held on the proposed project on March 18 followed by deliberations <br />on March 25th for the Commission to make their recommendation to be forwarded to the City Council for their <br />review and decision. <br />Mike Pruett, for the applicant provided some clarifying comments on the history of the project and intent for the <br />current proposal.
