BUSINESS AGENDA A. Park Lease Agreements Staff is seeking Council approval to renew and update property lease agreements for thirty- year terms at a rate of $1.00/year with the Tukwila School District for Duwamish Park, Foster Park, and Riverton Park. Committee Recommendation: Unanimous approval. Forward to August 16, 2021 Regular Consent Agenda. B. School Speed Zone Camera Program Update Staff provided an update on the automated traffic safety cameras in school zones implementation, which will begin in September 2021. Further analysis has revealed a need for additional cameras on 42nd Avenue South. Items) requiring follow-up. Return to Committee in the 4th quarter with an update. Return to Committee with contract amendment regarding 42nd Avenue South. • Return to Committee with request relating to Court staffing. Committee Recommendation: Discussion only. C. Fire Marshal Office Alternatives Staff provided an overview of current Fire Marshal Office services and budget and staffing considerations if additional service levels are directed by the Council. Items) requiring follow-up. • Provide additional detail regarding the decision to separate the Fire Marshal Office from the Fire Advisory Task Force process. • Provide additional detail on permit backlog.
